Bespoke Training

One of the cornerstones to a successful implementation of any aspect of manufacturing systems is to provide the correct level of training to the staff involved in the system. In most cases, manufacturing systems will have an impact on all staff from the directors, down to the production operatives and therefore the involvement and training needs of all staff must be considered.

We believe that your needs as a company, although similar to the needs of other companies, will be unique. We therefore do not have a staff of specialist lecturers. Instead, through the Project Management process, we will work with you to identify, who, where, when and what training is required. From this combined effort, a training plan exactly to meet your needs will be developed. We will then advise you whether a place on a scheduled course or a tailored course would best suit your needs.

This approach has proven in the past to be more advantageous for the following reasons:

• Training is normally given by staff who have been closely involved in projects and who therefore who therefore know the requirements.
• Timing of the courses can be adjusted to ensure minimum disruption of your existing day-to-day business whilst maximizing its effectiveness.
• Specialist requirements of your system can be focused upon during the training, without the conflicting needs of another company.
• Through experience, the consultants can identify any staff weakness that need further training and therefore, adjust the implementation plan to take account of these additional requirements.
• Where on-going training is required the scheduled courses offer an economic solution.

The choice of location will be an important consideration. Again the cost of off-site must be weighed against the opportunity for minimum disruption off-site. The availability of facilities, such as training rooms, computer systems etc. will also have a bearing on this decision.
